One whose base and frame are constructed of sturdy steel tubing with the added benefit of light-weight aluminum telescoping handles. I’m just doing another quick check on your trip—still WOW! I’m still in Yuma, AZ. I & a buddie have made a couple desert runs 80 or so miles ea. There has been a lot of rain so the desert should be outstanding when in bloom this spring. Late Feb. or late Mar. we plan to do some “KLR” down the Baja. As you know better than I “WHAT A MACHINE”

Have been watching your adventure since you started. I’m so jealous… Trip of a lifetime.
For more hand comfort, here’s the winner. Get some cheap latex or nitrile surgical or throwaway gloves. Put them on under your other gloves. Your hands will stay dry and a lot warmer! You will be amazed…
